A life-long resident of Ohio, Jeff graduated from Waverly High School and then from Otterbein College with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. He shifted his professional focus from his John Deere dealership to State Farm in 1990. After beginning his agency in Millersburg, Jeff moved his office to Sherrodsville in 1996 and has served the area of Carroll and surrounding counties from that day forward. He appreciates a variety of sports, and enjoys refining his golf game as time permits.

Our team takes pride in our customer service and professional knowledge of our products and services and we look forward to guiding you and your families in the right direction for your insurance needs. Our office of three employees has a combined total of over 100 years of experience in the insurance industry. We offer auto, home, renters, commercial, life, and health insurance policies.

Kelly is a graduate of Conotton Valley High School and has lived in the Sherrodsville Community most of her life.  She graduated from Kent State University Tuscarawas Campus with a degree in Criminal Justice Studies.  Kelly has been an employee of the Jeff Schmitt Agency of State Farm for 23 years and is  licensed in both Property and Casualty and Life and Health Insurance lines.  She spends most of her time outside of the office maintaining their hobby farm where she raises beef cows, horses and chickens.  “Faith and family are what make life worth living and of course being part of the State Farm Family"

Julia has proudly served the Jeff Schmitt Agency since 2011, but has been in the insurance industry since 2000.  A graduate of Tuscarawas Valley High School with a BS in English from Rochester College in Rochester Hills, MI, Julia enjoys music, quilting, building projects, and any other activity she can enjoy alongside her husband and daughter.  Although she has lived in all four time zones in the contiguous U.S., she will always regard Ohio as home.
